Began implementing KENAK

(ENERGY PERFORMANCE OF BUILDINGS REGULATIONS)

The Energy Performance of Buildings Regulations (K.En.A.K.) an obligation of the country both with the EU requirements but rather to its citizens. The building wealth in the country should, in accordance with modern requirements, to acquire effective management of energy required. In this way, except for safety and aesthetics that today was the main elements of a building is added and care so that energy consumption be as low as possible, while ensuring optimum conditions for staying in it.

The Technical Instructions TCG (time) approved by the Ministry of Energy and Climate Change in the Building No. 1387-2010 Judgement 17178/FEK B and made a mandatory application as follows:
- Then 20701-1/2010 "Comprehensive national standards parameters for calculating the energy efficiency of buildings and the certificate of energy efficiency."
- Then 20701-2/2010 "Thermophysical properties of construction materials and control of thermal insulation efficiency of buildings."
- Then 20701-3/2010 "Climatic Data Greek regions."
- Then 20701-4/2010 "Instructions and forms energy audits of buildings, boilers and heating and air conditioning."
